What is an analog position sensor used for ?
 

Angular and Rotary Analog Sensors

Angular sensors indicate a position between two stops
from 0 to 360° (max.) apart.
Rotary sensors can go beyond 360° and up to 10 complete turns.
Uses & functions:
- Adjust a setpoint from time to time on a control panel
- Drive a machine via a lever or foot-pedal
- Servo or recopy a position



Linear Analog Sensors

These sensors output a linear position from 0 to 1000 mm.
Uses & functions:
- Control a setpoint in constant use on a machine via a joystick
- Servo or measure a position
